The Securitization Process

Selection: The Originator identifies a pool of cash-flow-generating assets.
Transfer: Assets are transferred to a Meridian-structured SPV via a "True Sale."
Issuance: The SPV issues tradable securities to investors, backed by the asset pool.
Servicing: Cash flows from the assets are used to pay interest and principal to investors.
